Koprülü Canyon is a National Park.  This valley of wild beauty, rich in flora and fauna, is a centre for rafting.  Restaurants specialise in fresh trout.

Geography

  • Köprülü Canyon means “canyon with a bridge”.
  • The canyon stretches for 14 kilometres, around the Köprü River, and is 400 metres deep in some places.
  • The Roman Oluk Bridge over the canyon and the Bugrum Bridge over the Kocadere stream were both major feats of engineering when they were built.
